Get an Online Payday Loan - How to Get Quick Cash Before the ...

To get an online payday loan all that most lenders require is that you are currently employed or have a steady source of income, are at least 18 years old, a United States citizen, and that you have an active checking/savings account. If you meet these initial conditions then you should have no problem to get a payday loan. While these short term loans typically carry a high interest rate with them, they are often a better financial decision than incurring fees on your other obligations. Credit card payments, rent/mortgage payments, car payments, and bounced checks all have penalty fees associated with them ranging anywhere from $30 - $60 per offense. These fees can add up very quickly for consumers with short term cash flow problems and makes getting an online payday loan the most financially prudent decision.

If you need to get quick cash before next pay day then you might want to get an online payday loan. Online loans are much more convenient than your typical payday retail store. After you fill out an application for your short term loan, the lender will review your information and contact you shortly thereafter to discuss terms. After terms have been agreed upon by both parties your requested funds will be deposited directly into your checking/savings account usually within 24 hours.

If you want to get an online payday loan then you need to know where to find a legitimate lender as there are some sites that will distribute your personal information to other online spammers. I would strongly encourage consumers who need to get quick cash before next pay day to go through a lender who is affiliated with several pay day lenders rather than going directly to a particular lender. These multiple lender websites do not handle the cash loan themselves but instead they make payday lenders compete over your business and will provide you the lender that has offered the lowest interest rate. This is the most efficient and really the only way to ensure that you are getting a true market rate.

To get quick cash before next pay day most online lenders will issue you a short term loan ranging from $100 - $1,500. They will then expect you to pay back the loan plus a finance charge on your next pay day. A typical finance charge or accrued interest is $15 for every $100 you borrow. While pay day loans are an expensive form of borrowing often they are less expensive than incurring fees on other obligations or bills. Credit card companies and banks are significantly increasing their penalty fees for late payments or bounced checks and it is usually less costly for the consumer to get an online payday loan.

So if you need to get quick cash before next pay day then I suggest you find a reputable multiple lender site. They are by far the most convenient and most efficient way for consumers to get an online payday loan. I have ran into short term cash flow problems several times in my career and needed to get quick cash. The multiple lender site I listed below has consistently provided the most competitive rates on the market and I would strongly recommend them for your short term loan.

Training the next generation data scientists | Computerworld Hong ...

An online-only degree program aims to preemptively address businesses' need forThe University of California at Berkeley's new School of Information (iSchool) masters' level program aims to help students gain the knowledge, tools and training to land high-level, highly sought-after positions with businesses looking to use big data to improve efficiency, create new revenue streams, and compete more effectively in the marketplace.

Missing: Data Scientists
The new Master of Information and Data Science (MIDS) program is the school's first online-only degree program and is an effort to preemptively address businesses' need for skilled data scientists, says Dean of the School of Information AnnaLee Saxenien.

What's been missing in the market, Saxenien says, is mid-level, master's degree training that can bridge the gap between workers in business who are responsible for collecting the data and the current crop of data scientists, many of whom have Ph.Ds and are working in academia.

"There certainly are folks today in business and in academia who can fill these roles, and they are very valuable," says Michael Chui, principal, McKinsey Global Institute, a research and analyst firm.

"The problem is there aren't enough of them to fill the need. The effective use of data science has applications in almost every business in every organization around the world, and that's the issue," Chui says.

"In the future, we'll be dealing with information not just as text and physical artifacts, but [also as] video, data, audio, sensor data collected from computers, Web clickstream data – and that will all be globally networked. We are going to need a new education paradigm to address that," Saxenien says.

Above and beyond the new types of data, graduates of the program will be educated in the larger social, economic and personal usage issues that surround data, she says. This new degree program is much more narrowly focused on teaching students to work with data sets of all sizes; to get them to understand how to ask good questions about data; to teach them how to clean it, extract it, put it together and explore it. It's about how to use statistics and machine learning tools, across the whole spectrum of data analytics, Saxenien says.

"We're not just educating people in programming and data mining, but in law and legal issues, in social science and behavioral studies, user interface design and user interaction, for instance," she says.

Where the Data Scientist Jobs Are
Businesses in almost every industry are finding ways to use data to improve efficiency, create new revenue streams, better target marketing and advertising to customers, and develop new products and services, says McKinsey Global Institute's Chui.

"We don't see any area of a business that can't benefit from using data to streamline processes, better meet the needs of customers and users -- to become more effective and more competitive," Chui says.

Currently, demand for data scientists is concentrated in "traditional" sectors like IT and finance, and applicants to the program tend to hold careers in these fields, says Saxenien. But, she says, the application of data science should expand greatly over the next few years, offering graduates opportunities in real estate, government, healthcare, construction, manufacturing and more.

In addition, McKinsey's Chui says, graduates from the MIDS and similar programs will need to educate their employers and future colleagues in how to be smarter, more effective consumers of the data that's analyzed.

Mugabe seeks to boost Europe trade ties, calls for sanctions lift

Harare (AFP) - President Robert Mugabe on Thursday called on European nations to lift sanctions on Zimbabwe in order to boost trade ties.

"We do no want to visit France. I do not want your girls. I do not want to visit France for romantic purposes. I want to develop relations between us," he said.

Speaking while he met new the new diplomats from France, Germany and Holland, the 89-year-old urged France to consider whether sanctions should be kept in place.

"Can France have a national introspection and see whether it's right to continue to pursue the policy of sanctions against Zimbabwe," he said.

EU countries imposed travel bans and asset freezes on Mugabe, his inner circle and linked companies, following elections in 2002 which western observers said were rigged to hand him victory.

"We must now look at the future and the need for sanctions to go," Mugabe said.

The EU lifted most of its sanctions earlier this year, yet an asset freeze and travel ban remains for the veteran leader.

"We want the removal of economic sanctions so we can export beef to Europe. Let's get to trade," said Mugabe, whose 33-year rule was extended in July polls, said.

"Let our flowers find home in the Netherlands. Let our greens find their way into the Dutch market but for as long as there are sanctions, this will be difficult."

The EU and US, which also has sanctions in place, rejected the recent vote on grounds that the polls were not credible.

Mugabe has threatened western countries with retaliation over the sanctions.

Mo. golfer survives fall into Ill. course sinkhole

ST. LOUIS (AP) ? Mark Mihal was having a good opening day on the links when he noticed an unusual depression on the 14th fairway at Annbriar Golf Club in southern Illinois. Remarking to his friends how awkward it would be to have to hit out of it, he went over for a closer look.

One step onto the pocked section and the 43-year-old mortgage broker plunged into a sinkhole. He landed 18 feet down with a painful thud, and his friends managed to hoist him to safety with a rope after about 20 minutes. But Friday's experience gave Mihal quite a fright, particularly after the recent death of a Florida man whose body hasn't been found since a sinkhole swallowed him and his bedroom.

"I feel lucky just to come out of it with a shoulder injury, falling that far and not knowing what I was going to hit," Mihal, from the St. Louis suburb of Creve Coeur, told The Associated Press before heading off to learn whether he'll need surgery. "It was absolutely crazy."

Annbriar general manager Russ Nobbe described the sinkhole as "an extremely unfortunate event, an event we feel is an act of nature."

"We don't feel there is any way we could have foreseen this happening," he told a Tuesday news conference.

Mihal said it was a real downer on what had been a fine outing.

With winter finally nearing an end, "it was the first day to get to play in a long time," he said. "So I wasn't expecting too much."

Golfing with buddies, Mihal was waiting to hit his third shot, some 100 yards from the pin on the par 5, when he noticed a bathtub-looking indentation about knee deep just behind him on the fairway. At just one over par for the round, the golfer with a 6 handicap was on a roll.

Then the ground gave way beneath him.

"It didn't look unstable," Mihal said. "And then I was gone. I was just freefalling. It felt like forever, but it was just a second or two, and I didn't know what I was going to hit. And all I saw was darkness."

His golfing buddies didn't see him vanish into the earth but noticed he wasn't visible, figuring he had tripped and fallen out of sight down a hill. But one of them heard Mihal's moans and went to investigate.

"He just thought it was some crazy magic trick or something," Mihal said.

Hardly.

Getting panicky and knowing his shoulder "was busted," Mihal assessed his dilemma in pitch darkness as he rested on a mound of mud, wondering if the ground would give way more and send him deeper into the pit that was 10-feet wide at the opening, then broadened out into the shape of a bell below the surface.

"I was looking around, clinging to the mud pile, trying to see if there was a way out," he said. "At that point, I started yelling, "I need a ladder and a rope, and you guys need to get me out of here.'"

A ladder hustled to the scene was too short, and Mihal's damaged shoulder crimped his ability to climb.

"At some point, I said, 'I need to get out of here. Now,'" Mihal recalled.

One of his golf partners, a real-estate agent, made his way into the hole, converted his sweater into a splint for Mihal and tied a rope around his friend, who was pulled to safety.

While disturbing, such sink-holes aren't uncommon in southwestern Illinois, where old underground mines frequently cause the earth to settle. In Mihal's case, the culprit was subsurface limestone that dissolves from acidic rainwater, snowmelt and carbon dioxide, eventually causing the ground to collapse, said Sam Panno, a senior geochemist with the Illinois State Geological Survey.

That region "is riddled with sinkholes," with as many as 15,000 recorded, Panno said.

Nobbe told the AP other golfers are not in danger and the Annbriar course will remain open while officials seek geologist recommendations for what to do about the 14th hole's sinkhole.

"Every geologist we've talked to says it is unreasonable and unnecessary" to survey the entire grounds for other sinkhole threats, he added.

Mihal, meanwhile, is debating a return to Annbriar.

"It's a great course. I love the course," Mihal said, having played Annbriar a couple dozen times during the past decade. "But I would have a tough time probably walking down that hole again."
